There is 3 type of t-shirt printing methods such as below mentioned.
1. Silk Screen
First of all printing on t-shirt started in China on cloth through screen printing, in this process printing ink applied on the t-shirt through stretchable silk mess, first of all, a stencil is prepared then ink pressed through elastic pressure on the mess and ink comes out in the form of a very thin layer of ink, for each colour required separate mess, quality is not too good because printing dot cannot print more than 160 DPI where it refers dot per inch, but the price per unit is economical. 2. Digital Sublimation Printing
It is a fully digital process, content or image produced on a direct computer to an inkjet printer with sublimation ink, got print on sublimation paper with reverse print, then apply heat and pressure between t-shirt and printed paper, entire data printed on sublimation paper transferred on to the t-shirt through the hot transfer process due to the digital print process, printing quality come awesome! Compare to silkscreen per unit cost higher. Only light color, polyester and cotton polyester made of the t-shirt can be print.
3. Rubber Print and Cut
This process is also a computerized, content and image got printed in an inkjet printer on to a rubber seat and get cut shape we required then run in the heating and pressure process on prefer temperature, then vinyl adhered to the fabric so your printed t-shirt is ready to gift or wear, this process is very awesome! But compared to sublimation print cost is too high.
